This App does not remove the need for a thorough check of the authenticity of the product. If the App registers a scanned QR-code as “valid” or “invalid”, this is only an indication that the product is authentic, or that it has been counterfeited. But the App does not produce a definitive result. If the App recognizes the QR-Code as being valid, the possibility remains that the product itself has been counterfeited, because manipulation can never be excluded. For these reasons, Bayer does not assume liability for the correctness or reliability of the scan-results generated by this App.
